Parents for Positive Media
Many of you like I am disheartened by the many media reports that shed an
inaccurate or negative portrayal of parents raising children with metal illness.
For those of us who feel the need to take action, we spend at least once a month
sitting in front of our computer thinking of a nice way to show our distaste for
these irresponsible media reports. Yet it seems the more negative
recognition we give the more negative reports we see.
This is why I am excited about Parents for Positive media. Tracy
Anglada, president of BPChildren, has developed this program to take a different
approach to negative media. To learn more about this program, please visit
