families in the upstate.

|
 |
Teach parents essential advocacy skills for their children |
Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health of the Piedmont Reinforces:
1.That children with mental health disorders should have
appropriate and unbiased access to treatment. Including
non-discriminatory insurance coverage.
2. That early diagnosis and treatment of a child's mental
health disorder could help prevent an aggravation of symptoms.
3. That children with mental health disorders thrive best when
caregivers and educators are able to use methods that recognize
and accommodate their medical condition.
